The Sonar Bangla Express train bound for Dhaka collided with a freight car coming from Chittagong!! This incident took place in Hasanpur station area under Nangalkot upazila of Comilla.
Dhaka-bound “Sonar Bangla” train collides with a freight car at Hasanpur station in Nangalkot, on the Dhaka-Chittagong rail route. 7 coaches including engines derailed, heavy damage expected.
The incident occurred when the non-stop 787 Sonar Bangla Express hit the back of container 601 by mistake at Hasanpur point.
Dhaka-Chittagong train service stopped.
