A woman was tortured by her husband and father-in-law for making Iftar items in Kulaura of Moulvibazar. A video of the torture spread on social media. The incident took place in Sultanpur village of Prithimpasha union of Kulaura upazila on Monday. Rosina’s husband has been arrested. Efforts are on to arrest the remaining two accused. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kulaura Police Station Abdus Salek told Moulvibazar 24.com that on Monday, housewife Rozina Begum of Sultanpur village of Prithimpasha Union of Kulaura Upazila was tortured by her husband Abdus Salam and her father-in-law Shafiq Mia for making Iftar items. A video of the torture went viral on social media. He also said that relatives admitted Rozina Begum to Kulaura Upazila Health Complex with the help of police on Monday night. Rozina Begum’s brother Babul Mia filed a case against three accused in the police station. Rosina’s husband has been arrested. Efforts are on to arrest the remaining two accused
